    I recently bought a Ford B-Max Automatic car from The Small Auto Company which is my first Automatic car.I hadn't driven for a year owing to my mobility problems. My family had been supportive giving me lifts and I used taxis but looking around I saw lots of people the same age{over 80} and older driving with disabilities so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad that I did. The Company is quite close to my home and Stephen came with a Vauxhall car that I'd I thought would be suitable and he had to explain all the controls . He made it seem very easy and my confidence gradually returned.I still have a lot to learn as everything in the car is very different to my 19 year old manual Vauxhall!! I would recommend anyone who is wanting to reclaim their independence as I did to contact The Small Auto Company. Thank you so much Stephen for your never ending patience and support.

    BE AWARE!! THIS COMPANIES QUALITY ASSURANCETHAT THEY ADVERTISE IS A JOKE, WE PAID CASH AND A TOYOTA AYGO TOTALLING ABOUT £5000 FOR A FIAT 500, WITHING 4 MONTHS, THE GEAR BOX NEEDS REPLACING AND THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL BOX FOR THE ENGINE BLEW, IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE PATCHED THIS CAR UP TO GET IT PAST THE WARRENTY PERIOD OF 30 DAYS OR 2000 MILES, WE WASNT OFFERED ANY TYPE OF EXTENDED WARRENTY, WHICH WE WOULD HAVE TAKEN, IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE JUST RIPPED US OFF, PEOPLE SHOULD BE FACING A BILL OF £1500 FOR A CAR WE HAVE ONLY HAD FOR 4 MONTHS, AND THE CAR BEING USED AS AN AUTOMATIC, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS DUAL TRANSMISSION, GEAR BOXES DONT JUST GO, IF THEY HAD CHECKED THE CAR BEFORE SELLING IT US, THE MECHANIC WOULD KNOW THE GEAR BOX WAS FAULTY. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!!

    Thank you Terry R, the review system is designed for customers to give honest feedback, unfortunately it also allows customers the oppurtunity to vent , you purchased a car in Febuary of this year,with a 1 month warranty, we now sell all cars with 3 month warranty, it is nearly 6 months since purchase, the vehicle was checked prior to your collection , the gearbox was in full working order and you have enjoyed trouble free motoring, your warranty period had expired and you contacted us with this issue, we explained the warranty had expired, and offered to try get the vehicle repaired at a cheaper price, at no point did we have the benefit of inspecting the car , as with all automatic gearboxes they are sealed units and it is not feesible to patch a repair until warranty has expired, the truth is the car has been EXCELLENT, UNTIL A MECHANICAL PART FAILED. WE ARE SORRY THIS HAS HAPPENED, But can not maintain your car indefinitely. This is a factual reply, based on facts.

    Superb service and Can't recommend enough!

    Purchased a Citroen Grand Picasso from the Small Auto Co. 2 weeks ago and was extremely pleased with the service I received and especially how the car was presented when collected. A few days later I traveled to the South West of France and the car was faultless.

    Bought my Nissan Juke from these guys last week.. The service I received was fantastic.. Stephen the sales manager was really friendly & very professional ( No pressure sales).. I got excellent service from them.. A full years MOT & Service at no extra cost.. They even delivered my car to my door (Thanks Connor) .. I cannot recommend them enough.. Thank you guys will definately be using you again..

    Can't fault them.

    Can't fault this place at all. The salesman was friendly and enthusiastic. Never tried to convince me to buy any warranties or take out finance through them. They did everything i asked to get the car ready for me, even touched up a scratch i complained about. Up to now the car is exactly what they said it is, the price was fair and they even gave what i asked for my old car in part ex. I couldn't be happier.

    Fantastic car buying experience

    We had a long journey to get the the Small Auto Company. Was a little apprehensive about buying a car from such a distance away and of which I had not seen. I don't know why I had any worries. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable, the car was exactly as described and I am absolutely over the moon with my purchase.     was lied to about the car history.

    Bought a car from them, was told the car was not involved in an accident when asked more than 3 times. 10 days later passenger door handle felt slack so I asked a garage to look at it. the door card was buckled and there were other signs of work being done to the body. Called small autos to confront them, of course they said it cleared HPI check so its not been in an accident. their engineers did not spot nuts and bolts misaligned, panels being buckled (or may have but decided to sell the car on still insisting it has not been in an accident). I gave it 2 stars and not one because the manager there did try to convince the owner to pay 250 to have the loose door lock fixed. but the owner will not agree to it. I would either advice against buying it from them get AA to check the car before you buy it.

    We welcome all feed back, but in this instance feel your comments are unwarranted. The statement you make about lied to about service history is simply not true, although it is a shame you feel so aggrieved about a mark on an interior panel. this car it was due a service, which we did. Your request was to replace this panel, which we said we wouldn't as we sell used cars that are not new. However, we did say that if you have a mechanical issue we would look at that, but you refused to bring the car to us after this communication. We accept and welcome any inspection of our cars and would also assist any customers requiring independent inspections, but to think an inspection would remove interior panels and check screw alligment is at best unrealistic. just an opinion that screw heads have been adjusted, this could be due to glass replacement or a whole host of other reasons. if a customers refuses to bring a car back to us for inspection,our ability to resolve the issue is limited.
